Max Fish / “This bar has a huge story on my journey. The original Max Fish was further down the street when I made my first way back in 2007, the accompanying photograph is somewhere on my Instagra.I remember the shock the first time I walked in, I could not believe bathrooms could look like that. The torrent of abuse the bathroom had received in what appeared to be a clean, but super cool bar was something I had never seen before. Did it sew the seeds to start this project? Perhaps. It has certainly stuck with me. Its demise and rebirth made me determined to recapture what I saw.”

Framing Information

Frame: All frames come in white and black frame with an open-grain finish. If you would like a different colour frame then please email hello@samuelryde.com.

Glass: Each framed order comes with standard glass. Non-reflective art glass can also be used but costs more.

Acrylic: Printed on gloss photographic film, bonded to 5mm thick acrylic with optically clear adhesive. The edges are diamond polished and hand-buffed for a glass-like finish.

International orders will have non-reflective acrylic glass as standard.

Each editioned print is signed and numbered by Samuel.
