Crickhowell, Wales - Tucked away in the middle of the Brecon Beacons is the biggest small town in the world, Crickhowell. Just before you enter the town there's a layby with a pink burger van selling delicious sausage sandwiches. Next to that van is the tiny greenhouse that was once a BT phone box. Inside the sign reads that this was meant to be taken away in 2016 but long may it continue. Every time I go back it's in a different state. Overgrown and unused, even the builders stopping for their tea were taking photos. No matter how little we regard kiosks there's huge warmth for them. Seeing something so familiar slowly being overtaken by nature is a powerful symbol of the world we have created for ourselves."
Telephone Booths is a continuation of my debut series 'Hand Dryers'. Both series capture the everyday objects surrounding us that we fail to notice to examine what they say about us and the way we treat the world around us.

Samuels art makes our house feel alive and vibrant. I am forever finding new details within each image. Samuel was extremely helpful when helping us find the perfect images for our home. He was always extremely friendly and personable as well as highly professional.
Rickie Haywood-Williams, BBC Radio 1
His work is so unique and arresting. He is somehow able to capture the 'ordinary' in a way that makes it feel truly extraordinary. I'm so excited to see his work in our home.
