Take It. Fruit Machine.
Fruities. British fruit machines. I've found myself in the world of fruit machine collectors. A niche within a niche, by their own admittance. These guys are extremely passionate about their machines, some of which are hanging on to existence in their ones or twos right now. It's only these guys keeping them alive, plus a few dedicated shops around the country. From my point of view, the illustrations are unique. I still find them intimidating, I don't understand them, but their design intice you in, you can't help press the buttons even if there's no credit. But look at these hand-drawn designs. All these machines in this private collection are 70s/80s, mostly 80s, and the most sought-after go for a pretty penny. I love looking at them, the sounds and mechanics of them. As a kid, I remember being mesmerised by them, and to be honest, it had been such a long time since I'd seen this many that I had forgotten exactly how powerful the enticment is. The constant sounds of 'play me play me play me'. I can't resist the colours. I really want a deep dive into this theme.

Framing Information
Details
Frame: All frames come in white or black with a smooth finish. If you would like a different colour frame then please email hello@samuelryde.com.
Glass: Each framed order comes with standard glass. Non-reflective art glass can also be used, but costs more.
Acrylic: Printed on gloss photographic film, bonded to 5mm thick acrylic with optically clear adhesive. The edges are diamond polished and hand-buffed for a glass-like finish.
Timing. Please allow at least ten working days for production. Framing is not an exact science,diamond-polished unfortunately. A priority service is available with a 20% top up.
International orders will have non-reflective acrylic glass as standard.
Archival Giclee Print
The luminous colours of my photos pop best with an archival giclee print on durable archival paper which I've hand picked out of many samples.
Smooth Finish Frames
Choose from smooth, wooden effect or aluminium finishes on your frames. All come with standard glass, art glass available on request.
Certificate of Authenticity.
Alongside all signed prints, you'll get a certificate of authenticity too. If you order framed this will be on the back of the frame.
