“Is it too much of a stretch to suggest this image isn't too far removed from the caveman carvings from 10000 years ago? There's something raw and human about the need to leave a mark, and the character on the left-hand side certainly has a rudimentary feeling of our ancestor's efforts. This bathroom truly is a raw canvas of its inhabitants, a true reflection of the comings and goings it has seen. It's a tiny snapshot of the life of this place. A Sunday night with live music playing for tips. Also, the lock doesn't work, so be very careful if you ever go.”

Framing Information

Frame: All frames come in white or black with an open-grain finish. If you would like a different colour frame then please email hello@samuelryde.com.

Glass: Each framed order comes with standard glass. Non-reflective art glass can also be used but costs more.

Acrylic: Printed on gloss photographic film, bonded to 5mm thick acrylic with optically clear adhesive. The edges are diamond polished and hand-buffed for a glass-like finish.

International orders will have non-reflective acrylic glass as standard.

I bought 3 images from Mr. Ryde. The quality of the prints is exceptionally high. I bought the small size and hung them in by bathrooms. Lots of compliments and the colors pop.

Awesome print

I absolutely love all the Samuel Ryde prints - I think it's brilliant how he captures the soul and uniquiness of these seemingly normal settings, and finds vibrant, interesting and rich images. I purchased the Two Bits Retro print, and am considering buying a couple more. The print is even better in the flesh - very high quality, vivid and vibrant. I've had it hanging up for a couple of days, and already has got a lot of comments from visitors. It takes people quite some time to see it's a hand dryer - and most thinking it's just a really cool piece of art. Really happy with it and looking forward to buying more Samuel Ryder prints and art work in the future.
