Tucked away behind the Eleanor Arms Pub is this gorgeous doorway. I've been to this pub many times but this particular doorway only gets light first thing in the morning. More often than not there's a car parked there. Not this time though, you have to keep going back to get lucky sometimes. On Fridays, the landlord brings all his CDs down and sets up a little sit-down DJ booth for himself. Once I was in there and three girls were having a reunion from the time they lived next door. The landlord happily played every single Spice Girl song they threw at him. Make sure you go to the back, there's a signed poster from Wes Anderson's 'Isle of Dogs' movie which was made at the end of the road at Three Mills. All the production staff used this as their local and gifted the pub a signed movie poster to recognise the amazing moments they must have had there, jazz or no jazz.

Framing Information

Frame: All frames come in white with an open-grain finish. If you would like a different colour frame then please email hello@samuelryde.com.

Glass: Each framed order comes with standard glass. Non-reflective art glass can also be used but costs more.

Acrylic: Printed on gloss photographic film, bonded to 5mm thick acrylic with optically clear adhesive. The edges are diamond polished and hand-buffed for a glass-like finish.

International orders will have non-reflective acrylic glass as standard.

Each editioned print is signed and numbered by Samuel.

I bought 3 images from Mr. Ryde. The quality of the prints is exceptionally high. I bought the small size and hung them in by bathrooms. Lots of compliments and the colors pop.

Awesome print

I absolutely love all the Samuel Ryde prints - I think it's brilliant how he captures the soul and uniquiness of these seemingly normal settings, and finds vibrant, interesting and rich images. I purchased the Two Bits Retro print, and am considering buying a couple more. The print is even better in the flesh - very high quality, vivid and vibrant. I've had it hanging up for a couple of days, and already has got a lot of comments from visitors. It takes people quite some time to see it's a hand dryer - and most thinking it's just a really cool piece of art. Really happy with it and looking forward to buying more Samuel Ryder prints and art work in the future.
