A niche within a niche, by their own admittance. These guys are extremely passionate about their machines, some of which are hanging on to existence in their ones or twos right now. It's only these guys keeping them alive, plus a few dedicated shops around the country. From my point of view, the illustrations are unique. I still find them intimidating, I don't understand them, but their design intice you in, you can't help press the buttons even if there's no credit. But look at these hand-drawn designs. All these machines in this private collection are 70s\/80s, mostly 80s, and the most sought-after go for a pretty penny. I love looking at them, the sounds and mechanics of them. As a kid, I remember being mesmerised by them, and to be honest, it had been such a long time since I'd seen this many that I had forgotten exactly how powerful the enticment is. The constant sounds of 'play me play me play me'. I can't resist the colours.
